The Lost Michaelic Century and its Resurrection

One lost century we already have - the 20th century. It should never come to pass that we will have to say at the end of the 21st and beginning of the 22nd centuries: a new disclosure reveals that also the 21st century was a lost century and the second century of the age of Michael is also lost! This will be an ultimate and terrible disaster if this will be the case, it's already a big disaster today. Because this means that, as I said, there is no positive build-up from one generation to the next, no positive build-up of the Michaelic movement through 3x33 generations that make up a century, that each prepares always a better and higher starting ground for the next generation. So, each generation must start from scratch. But the scratch that the next starts from is less than the previous scratch we. It's actually the reverse, regressing, process. Instead of a positive build-up you have a negative build-down and degeneration of humanity, in which each generation has less life, soul and spirit forces to start from, not more.
This is actually, in many respects, where we are already today. Young people have less substance to start from than we had when we were young. And our fathers had more than we had. What are we giving to the young, what will they start with? This is our main task in the coming 20 years. This is what is so urgently important.
The young generation is of course out there. The are always there. But what happened in Rudolf Steiner’s time when he was asked: Where are all the Michaelites, why they don't become members of the anthroposophical society? He replied: They are here, but we don't speak their language! Well, you know he spoke the language, but anthroposophists reversed what he said, reversed not only what he said, but above all how he said it, and when they spoke these reversed words in his name, they reached the ears- and hearts- of the young generation so awfully reversed, and the young said: this is absolutely not our language! We must create the true Michaelic language if we wish to speak to the younger people, of all ages, the young in soul. The living spiritual language is always youthful, it speaks to the young of all physical ages, as I also showed in The Twilight and Resurrection of Humanity. We must speak this language, and this is why we have to find in the renewed foundation stone, the source of these eternally youthful life forces, and transform them into this youthful, truthful, language, to create such creative, empowering, brother-and sisterhoods, among ourselves, that we can then offer to them.
This is the most universal human language. All the knowledge of spiritual science comes from this source, and therefore it can be transformed back in our hearts to the living source from which it came: the language of the spiritual, soul and etheric heart, flowing from the heart, speaking from the heart to human hearts. This is absolutely doable. But in order to do this we have to be ourselves the language we have to speak. Let's take the renewed foundation stone, base our human meetings on an individualized foundation stone, that lives in each heart, and rebuild our community together on this foundation, with all our devotion and enthusiasm. Do I hear through your words the language of the spirit? do I see in her eyes, as Rudolf Steiner says, the light of the spirit? That's a very concrete way of describing it. We have really to meet with one another that we will hear the real and actual spirit language and will see the divine light in the eyes of our partners.
The absolutely real spiritual experience that all people can have today is here and now in meeting each other. Then the angels will come. Archangels will come, everybody will come, but if I cannot meet you as a spiritual being, how I'm going to meet an angel or an archangel, or even the tinies Gnome? And what does it mean to serve Michael, and not to experience the spiritual being of another person? But if I experience you as a spiritual being, then Michael is there, Christ is there, Anthroposophia can become the new group soul, everybody else is there: gnomes and elves are there, brining friends from all around the earth and beyond! This whole celebration is there because I experienced one spiritual being as a reality; it opens the door to everything. This is the secret. Let's do it in our work today, tomorrow and after tomorrow, and we'll see how it really works, and gain confidence in the real spirit. And with this confidence, we will ‘make everything new”! Answer to questions:
YBA: We must bring back the wonder of the human being, and in each moment, and each meeting, ask ourselves: who is human being? And experience the mystery, the grandeur, the beauty of the cosmic human being that we meet. This is many people experience this in the world today. To what extent are we still bound by this past, we know immediately, when we observe what happens when people encounter each other, not only in the street and office, but above all in some spiritual streams…. because they totally pass each other by, totally ignore each other- when they don’t quarrel to death! That's one essential portal that must be opened, that the ‘lost century’ couldn’t open- the mystery of the human meeting. Even the good spiritual streams are based solely on one creative individual who do great things, and give important knowledge, art and scientific discoveries to the world. Very good. We need them. But there are truly creative communities are rare to find, and if your find them, they are based on some group interests, in business and technology, science and sport, but these communities aren’t as a rule working for the sake of humanity as a whole. Also, Rudolf Steiner stood there alone, and couldn’t find true comrades, and had to leave the earth before fulfilling his task. The new human meeting as we practice it, and the new community based on it, is therefore the first absolutely necessary step, without which the goals of Michael for his second century will not be realized.
Now, this is the inner work about which we spoke previously, that the college is now starting, to develop new etheric forces, because, let it be emphasized again, it's not about spreading new ideas and knowledge in conceptual form. This, of course, we must continue to offer out of our current spiritual research. But this research also give us the means to train ourselves how to create these etheric forces, to do the real etheric work in the world. In the human meeting you want to create etheric forces. You want to perceive these etheric forces. You want to know how to handle the etheric forces created in human meeting to create etheric communities. You want to know how to control and channel them into all fields of life. You want to do it, when you are working with children and parents, with sick people. You want to use it in what will one day become the required education of the 21st century; you want to use it in all aspects of social life. Without this you have nothing to offer - just concepts and words again. Today, in the second century of Michael Age, ‘etheric Forces’ - this is what must be created, perceived, actualized, worked with; faculties are necessary, not only more concepts about spiritual things, but actual faculties capable of creating and applying real, life- and healing giving, etheric forces.
That's the most general universal human force, flowing from the new human meeting, building an etheric community. From this central source is where you take the life-forces for everything that must be done. Without this you cannot raise children and heal, teach, and grow planes and animals, you cannot do anything. Then if karma is beneficial, it may even be possible at least to prepare for the preparers, this source of etheric energies, that will have become so powerful in etheric human hearts, fired by the highest moral intentions, and will be able flow into etheric technology, and the dreams of Keely and Strader may come to life for the first time. And Dr Greer is aware of this, in his own way. He's a spiritual man. He's not only speaking about developing free energy and giving it to humanity but emphasizes that you cannot give human beings free energy without giving them the new spiritual world conception and meditative life, because you will take their work away and give them nothing in return, expect more entertainment. It's like a universal basic income. Of course, basic income is human right and should be given to all. But basic income without creative spiritual purpose and meaning in life will be reversed to its opposite.
As you know, Rudolf Steiner said in 1918: ‘We have 20 years to create the Strader machine. If not, it will be taken over by Ahriman’. And this is what actually happened in the lost Michaelic century, because this lost Michaelic century was Ahriman’s victorious century.
To understand why anthroposophists failed to develop the new etheric technology, you must of course understand why they failed in developing anthroposophy as such. People go astray and look for scientific and technological reasons, and some try to construct these machines out of their clever thoughts. This is utterly false.
Why did Strader fail? Read the four mystery dramas, and especially the last one, The Souls Awakening. What happened to Strader is not a scientific and technical failure. Why did he die? It was a social and karmic issue. The people could not find their way to each other in the right way. People betrayed each other, the community fell apart, and then, of course you could not have etheric forces to propel a machine. If you couldn't meet the other person from heart to hear, how can you move an etheric machine, because that's the same source and the same etheric power. So, this is our task now, to enliven and create everything from the source, and then, if you have it, it will flow to all fields of life. But the bad guys didn’t fail at all! they have done fantastic work in the ‘lost 100 years’ and have achieve unbelievable superesensible technologies. They are so infinitely far advanced.
