From the Conclusion of the Third Lecture, 25 March 2023: How to Work with the

Foundation Stone Meditation

The resurrection of the Christmas Conference will allow us,

to the extent that we have prepared ourselves rightly to participate in it,

to receive the spiritualized and metamorphosed substance

of the Christmas Conference, developed in the etheric world in the last

100 years. It is requesting to receive a certain new configuration and

aura. This can only happen among human beings that open their hearts

to hear Michael’s apocalyptic call, receive it into their wakeful hearts,

and form it, and to actualize its goals in the first half of the twenty-first

century.

How to Work with the Foundation Stone Meditation

Even if you have studied anthroposophy for

sixty years and meditated for forty years, even if you know so much

about anthroposophy and all the sacred books of all times, I can tell you

from my own experience that the formation and laying of the Founda-

tion Stone and the Foundation Stone Meditation can change, from the

ground up, your whole experience of Michael, Anthroposophia, and of

yourself. Your life will change from its very foundation; it will be totally

transformed. You will come to the point in which you will experience

the very notion of ‘anthroposophy’ in a totally new way and you will

experience for the !rst time why Rudolf Steiner said that the Christ-

mas Foundation Conference is a totally new beginning of the Michaelic

Impulse and of the evolution of humanity. A totally new beginning of

everything! Welten-Zeiten-Wende-Anfang! The turning point of the time

of the whole world. You will begin to experience this in its full signi!-

cance. It will become part of you; you will become part of it.

And the time will come in which you will look back at what you

called your anthroposophical knowledge, habits, and conventions

before this experience, as a mature person in his 50s looks back at his

childhood and adolescence. Thankfully, of course, because it brought

you to this moment, but you will also say to yourself: ‘Everything I

knew about anthroposophy before I became this Event seems to me like

a childhood play: rich and meaningful, naturally, for my development,

but as only a small seed in comparison to the flowering plant developed

in the Christmas Foundation Conference.’ This is what the Michaelic

Mysteries mean; this is a beginning of what one day must become,

on Earth, a totally new Anthroposophy, as different from what passes

under this name since 1925 as your childhood experiences at !ve years

old are different from your experience of life at !fty. This is the future

formation and birth of Anthroposophia—my true cosmic-human Self.

This will be something that you will gradually come to experience if

you follow this path.

If we follow this path energetically, persistently, and enthusiastically,

then when we work through the Summer and Autumn, and meet at

Christmas, we will have something to offer and share with Michael

and his companions: the resurrected and updated being and becoming

of the Christmas Foundation Conference. This offer, they will joyfully;

they will take it in and reciprocate it with even greater gifts of

grace. They will offer their inspirations and vivifying life forces, and we

shall receive them in reverence, gratitude, and wonder, and enhance the

next phase of our work: to breathe and weave with them, the body, soul,

and spirit of the growing Michaelic movement, united on Earth and

in the etheric world. Gradually, the mutual communication becomes

so intense, that it will become a bridge of spiritual memory and con-

tinuity of consciousness. The bridge will be completed! The Time is at

Hand! The temple of the new Mysteries, destroyed in 1922, 1923–4, will

rise again, now through the work of ordinary mortals as continuity of

sensing, feeling, thinking, and doing with the supersensible School of

Michael. And living intercourse between Earth and Heaven will take

place in the temple, and all the good things about which all the prophets

of old have spoken will be ful!lled.

Now that we draw nearer to Easter of this remarkable year 2023, let

us carry this in our hearts, dear friends. Let us work with it in such a

way that we will feel how our work expresses the new forces of this

absolutely unique Spring: the time of resurrection of the Age of Michael,

resurrection of old anthroposophy from the grave of civilization, and

the birth of the new Michaelic movement. This is a living Event in this

time because it is an expression of the resurrection of Earth and human-

ity, which the Christ is leading. It is the time of the emergence of the

new Earth and Heaven, of His earthly-human Sun. This is the time in

which, in this remarkable year 2023, at Easter, Midsummer, and Mich-

aelmas, we should prepare ourselves for the centenary celebration of

the Christmas Conference. Through Easter, Midsummer, Michaelmas

and Christmas, this Impulse will develop in four consequent major

steps; in four ‘Steigerungen’ i.e. enhancements, intensi!cations, leading

to the resurrection of the Christmas Conference. This resurrection will

allow us, to the extent that we have prepared ourselves rightly to par-

ticipate in it, to receive the spiritualized and metamorphosed substance

of the Christmas Conference, developed in the etheric world in the last

100 years. It is requesting to receive a certain new configuration and

aura. This can only happen among human beings that open their hearts

to hear Michael’s apocalyptic call, receive it into their wakeful hearts,

and form it, and to actualize its goals in the first half of the twenty-first

century. The remarkable year 2023 offers us a marvellous opportunity to

enhance and deepen this work.
